Gejia, who is an unidentified minority group in China,  which are not listed into China¡¯s 55 minority groups yet. All of them live in the villages near Kaili city of Guizhou. This group has only a small population of 35,000 people. They are regarded as a subgroup of Miao, since 30% of their language words are Miao, but they often think they are different.

They think their first ancestor was a hero, who ever shot down 11 suns from the sky, left only one, hanging in the sky, so human being could survive from it.

In order to remember their hero, all unmarried girls make their hair style in a shape of a red sun,and an arrow shooting into its center.
