Day 1: Arrival in Guilin
Day 2: Guilin / Longji
visit terraced paddy fields in Longji and Yao, Zhuang villages. Drive to visit Chengyang roofed bridge in Sanjiang. Stay in Sanjiang.
Day 3: Sanjiang / Congjiang
One hundred and fifty-two kilometers' drive from Sanjiang to Congjiang will take three and half hour's drive, after lunch in Congjiang, we will drive to a very beautiful Dong village so called Yingtan, which is located in a quilt valley with a beautiful view from the hillside. Dong people's singing and dancing performance will be given there. Trek for 30 minutes, and then take a boat to raft down Duliu River to Congjiang.
Stay in Congjiang.
Day 4: Congjiang / Biasha / Rongjiang
Drive ten kilometers to a Miao village named Biasha on the top of a mountain near Congjiang, whenever we go there, we always have some interesting thing to see, indigo-dying, embroidery, batik-making at women¡¯s apron or skirt, weaving, etc. Trek along the road for 8 kilo to visit Chejiang, a Dong village that is famous for a loving story about Zhu Lang and Liang Mey, they are described to be Dong people¡¯s Romeo and Juliet. In the village, we will see huge umbrella-like Banyan trees of hundreds of years, historical houses built during Qing Dynaty , and the biggest and tallest drum tower of the world.
Day 5: Rongjiang / Leishan / Kaili
After one hundred and ten kilometers' drive from Rongjiang, we will have a stop at Datang village for short skirt Miao villager¡¯s performs. We also visit Paika Miao village to to see Lusheng instrument making. Trek for 1 hour to Paiyang to see the wood comb making. Stay in Kaili.
Day 6:
Take a bus to Huzhuang village for 3 hours hiking from Matang (Ge jia) to
Shiban viliage (Xijia). Then take a bus back to Kaili to visit the National Museum.
Stay in Kaili.
Day 7:
Take a bus to Zhenyuan, on the half road we have a stop at Shidong where Miao's Sister's Meal and Dragon Boat Festival are held annually ,traditional silver jewellery making can be seen around the year. Then trek to visit the famous ¡®Black Dragon Cave¡¯ in Zhenyuan. The historical town that can be dated back to two thousand years ago is really worth taking your relaxful step in the old part of the town.
Stay in Zhenyuan.
Day 8: Zhenyuan / Liping (take bus for a whole day)
Day 9: Liping / Zhaoxing / Sanjiang
Sightseeing in the old town and Qiao street in the morning; take a bus to Zhaoxing to visit Tang-an Dong village, Diping roofed bridge in the afternoon.
Stay in Sanjiang.
Day 10: Sanjian / Guilin
OR
Day 8: Zhenyuan / Shibing
Yuntai Shan Mountain for hiking 2 hours in the morning.Take a bus to Shangwuyang River and take a cruise by boat to appreciate amazing limestone landscape.
Back to Kaili in the evening. Stay in Kaili.
Day 9: Kaili / Guiyang
Sightseeing the Huangguoshu Waterfall. Stay in Guiyang.
Day 10: Depart Guizhou.
