Most Festivals of ethinc groups coming up after the rice harvest, it is among Octover-November, the weather in Guizhou is warm, not cold, nor hot.

Day1(Nov.12) Congjiang Railway station/Huanggang(D)

Arrival at Congjiang Station at around 11:00, meet our guide and driver. Our guide and driver pick you up, and drive to Jiabang terraced fields (3.5h). On the way to Jiabang, we visit Huangang Dong village, Zhanli Dong village and other villages.

Visit Huanggang Dong village, which is the best kept Dong village in China with more than 800 Dong households living there. The locals do not speak Chinese well, since their native language is Dong, and they have their own typical culture.

Day2(Nov.13) Jiabang/Rongjiang(D)

Visit the famous terraced rice fields in Jiabang by hike if your time permits.

On the way to Rongjiang, we will take the remote country road passing through Mountain Moon, to explore the far Miao villages, where the outsiders could hardly touch, and the local famers especially local women still wear their traditional clothes, and have their typical headdress.

Day3(Nov.14) Rongjiang/Shiqiao (3.5h) (D)

Visit the morning market in Rongjiang. After the market visit, we drive to visit a remote Miao village and a Shui village on the way, and then drive to Shiqiao Miao village, which is famous for paper making skill. All the Miao family make paper with trees' bark and grass.

Day4(Nov.15) Shiqiao/Xiasi/Matang/Chong'an Lusheng festival/Wudong(3h) (D)

Visit Xiasi ancient town and then move to Matang village of Gejia group which is famous for batik making with wax and indigo.

Day5(Nov.16) Wudong-Gulong-Wudong(3h) (D)

Visit the Lusheng festival in Gulong!

We suggest the visitors pack lunch before we arrive at the festival town, because the local street only sell dog meat, that's a local cuisine.

After the festival, we move back to the village.

Day6(Nov.17) Wudong-Shidong-Zhenyuan(2h+1h) (D)

Visit Getou Miao village in the morning, and then drive to the Rice Harvest in a Miao village near Shidong township. After the festival visit, we drive to Zhenyuan ancient town, it takes another 1 hour’s drive. Zhenyuan has a long history of 2000years.

Day7(Nov.18) Zhenyuan-Kaili(2h)

Visit Black Dragon Cave temple and the alleys of Zhenyuan. On the way to Kaili, we visit Flying Cloud Cliff temple.

Day 8 (Nov.19) Kaili/ Langde Upper village/Leigongshan/Kaili (1.5h)

Drive to Langde Upper Miao village, experience Langde Miao welcome ceremony.

After lunch in Langde, we take a short drive to Leigong mountain, and hike in the valley of waterfalls and then drive back to Kaili city.

Day9(Nov.20) Kaili/Xiaoqikong/Libo(3h)

Visit the UNESCO scenic area called Xiaoqikong, famoust for its natural landscapes.

Visit the local night food market.

Day10(Nov.21) Libo/Qingyan/Guiyang (3.5h)

Visit Qingyan ancient town after we take the long drive of 3.5hours.

Qingyan is an ancient town, it used to be the south gate to Guiyang, with a long history of 600 years. Overnight in Guiyang (arrange on your own)
