Guizhou Spring Festival Experience Tour of  12 Days

Chinese Spring Festival arrives mainly at the end of January or during February, there will be a lot of festival activities of ethnic groups happening in Guizhou during the 2 months, it's just the right time to discover and experience the real Chinese culture.

If you want to take pictures of young pretty girls with traditional clothes, please do not miss this chance. The local young people often work in the cities for making a living, but they can  go home and stay in their villages when festivals arrive, where they can look for their girl or meet other friends.

Day1 Guiyang arrival

Arrival at Guiyang airport or Train station, and visit Qingyan ancient town in the afternoon.

Overnight in Guiyang

Day2 Guiyang/Huangguoshu/Guiyang

Visit Huangguoshu waterfalls, and drive back to Guiyang in the late evening.

Day3 Guiyang/Xiaoqikong/Libo (3h+0.5h)

Visit Xiaoqikong scenic area after we take a drive of 3h. Xiaoqikong scenic area includes Wolongtan Lake, Cuigu Waterfalls, 68 waterfalls group, Laya Waterfalls and Ancient Bridge.

Day4  Libo/Zhaoxing(3h)

Visit Zhaoxing Dong village after we arrive, and take a local car to Tang’an Dong village, hike from Tang’an to Zhaoxing, pasting through the terraced paddy fields(2hours).

Day5 Zhaoxing

Explore the nearby Dong villages and experience Spring Festival activities of Dong group.

Day6 Zhaoxing/Huanggang/Zhanli/Rongjiang(3h)

Visit the best kept Dong village called Huanggang, and then drive to explore Zhanli Dong village on the way to Rongiang.

Day7 Rongjiang(3h)

Explore the remote Miao villages around Rongjiang, visit those remote Miao villages near Tingdong.Overnight in Rongjiang

Day8 Rongjiang/Baibei/Zenlei/Kaili (3.5h)

Visit Baibei Miao village, Zenlei village of Shui group and some other villages, experience the Lusheng festive on the way to Shiqiao.

Day9 Kaili/Upper Langde village/Wudong/Kaili (2h)

Visit Visit Upper Langde village, Wudong Miao village and then experience another Lusheng festival near Kaili.

Day10 Kaili/Zhenyuan(2H)

Visit Matang village of Gejia group, Flying Cloud Temple on the way to Zhenyuan.

Gejia group is good at making batik with indigo and wax. Flying Cloud Temple famous for it building design and long history.

Overnight in Zhenyuan

Day11 Zhenyuan/Longli/Guiyang

Visit Zhenyuan ancient town and the Black Dragon Cave in the morning, and drive to Guiyang after lunch.

On the way to Guiyang, visit Lusheng festival in Longli.

Day12 Guiyang departure, the trip ends.
