Most of Lusheng festivals happen during Chinese New Year, so it is during February. The Lusheng festival in Zhouxi is the most important, in which more than 30,000 people participate. In this festival, not only will the native Miao groups come and attend, but also other Miao groups come and join here. They come from Sichuan province, and other regions of Guizhou, such as western Guizhou, and southern Guizhou.
