Yao group has a small population of  2.13 million in China, while 45,000 people live in Guizhou. They are distributed among the moutains of Guizhou, such as in Liping, Congjiang, Majiang and so on. About 10,000 Yaos live in Majiang. Most of them still use their own Yao language until today.
